Juarndai Lei Gagnon is the Grants and Contracts Manager for the Center for Healthy Development (CHD), which is based in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University (GSU), where she manages sponsored projects awarded to various centers located within CHD.
Prior to joining the staff at GSU in June 2011, Juarndai Lei founded Superior Community Professionals, Inc. where she contracted with small businesses to provide administrative and accounting guidance while implementing effective strategies for professional and business development. Juarndai Lei has over 10 years of comprehensive knowledge in human resources and accounting within education, government, non-profit, and corporate sectors. Extremely diverse, she has held positions from administrative to managerial in retail, automotive, medical and food manufacturing, veterinary and animal boarding operations, public education, and public safety administration. In addition to her extensive experience, she has received accolades for establishing quality employee and public relations, problem solving, and for her participation and service to local professional organizations such as Toastmasters, LeaderCast, International Women’s Day, corporate and government Safety Teams, and several networking groups throughout Atlanta. While devoted to her work with the Center for Healthy Development, Juarndai Lei is also pursuing her MBA in Enterprise Risk Management at Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.
